Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of 20mM Tris, 500mM NaCl, pH7.4, 10%gly, 3mM DTT. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

Beschreibung von PDE1C Protein

PDE1C is a member of the cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase family, PDE1 subfamily. Phosphodiesterases (PDEs) play an important role in dynamic regulation of cAMP and cGMP signaling. These enzymes hydrolyze some nucleoside 3’,5’-cyclic phosphate to some nucleoside 5’-phosphate. They are involved in many signal transduction pathways and their functions include vascular smooth muscle proliferation and contraction, cardiac contractility, platelet aggregation, hormone secretion, immune cell activation, and they are involved in learning and memory. Mammalian PDEs have been classified into several families based on their biochemical properties. Members of the PDE1 family, such as PDE1C, are calmodulin-dependent PDEs that are stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex. PDE1C is expressed in several tissues, including brain and heart. It has a high affinity for both cAMP and cGMP. As a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase, PDE1C has a dual-specificity for the second messengers cAMP and cGMP.
