Preparation

This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human NME1 / NDKA (rh NME1 / NDKA; Catalog#11615-H07E; NP_000260.1; Ala 2-Glu 152) and conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, the unreacted FITC was removed.

Flow cytometric analysis of Human NME1 expression in HeLa cells. The cells were treated according to manufacturer's manual (BD Pharmingen™ Cat. No. 554714), and then stained with FITC Mouse anti-NME1 (11615-MM01-F). The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells.

Flow cytometry was performed on a BD FACSCalibur flow cytometry system

Storage This antibody is stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored at 2℃-8℃. Protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze !
Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Flush with large volumes of water during disposal.

Hintergrund von NME1 / NDKA Antikörper

Nucleoside diphosphate kinase A, also known as NDP kinase A, Tumor metastatic process-associated protein, Metastasis inhibition factor nm23, Granzyme A-activated Dnase, GAAD, NME1 and NDPKA, is a cytoplasm protein which belongs to theNDK family. Isoform1of NME1 is expressed in heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, pancreas, spleen and thymus. Expressed in lung carcinoma cell lines but not in normal lung tissues. Isoform2NME1 is ubiquitously expressed and its expression is also related to tumor differentiation. Isoform3NME1 is ubiquitously expressed. NME1 / NDPKA is found in reduced amount in some tumor cells of high metastatic potential. However, increased NME1 levels correlate with aggressive tumor features in neuroblastoma. NME1 / NDPKA may have distinct if not opposite roles in different tumors. NME1 / NDPKA possesses nucleoside-diphosphate kinase, serine / threonine-specific protein kinase, geranyl and farnesyl pyrophosphate kinase, histidine protein kinase and 3'-5' exonuclease activities. It is involved in cell proliferation, differentiation and development, signal transduction, G protein-coupled receptor endocytosis, and gene expression. NME1 / NDPKA is required for neural development including neural patterning and cell fate determination.
