Molecular Mass	The secreted recombinant human FGFBP3 consists of 243 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 26.4 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 33 Kda in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of 20mM Tris, 500mM NaCl, 10% gly, pH7.4. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

Beschreibung von FGFBP3 Protein

FGFBP3 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor-binding protein family. Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) play an important role in the regulation of cell migration, proliferation and differentiation. The fibroblast growth factor-binding protein (FGF-BP) binds and activates FGF-1 and FGF-2, thereby contributing to tumor angiogenesis. After injury to murine and human skin, the expression of FGF-BP is increased, especially in keratinocytes. It is generally thought that this upregulation is achieved by major keratinocyte mitogens present at the wound site. FGFBP3 is a protein that exhibits fibroblast growth factor binding (orthology) and heparin binding (orthology). It is found that FGFBP3 is a positive regulator of fibroblast growth factor receptor signaling pathway and vascular permeability. It interacts with 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzodioxine, benzopyrene and valproic acid.
