S100A7-tonsil immunohistochemistry

Immunochemical staining of human S100A7 in human tonsil with rabbit polyclonal antibody (1 μg/mL, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections). Positive staining was localized to tonsil crypt and epithelium.

S100A7-skin immunohistochemistry

Immunochemical staining of human S100A7 in human skin with rabbit polyclonal antibody (1 μg/mL, formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections). Positive staining was localized to sweat gland.

Western blot

This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human S100A7 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Human S100A7 is approximately 2 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions.

Direct ELISA

This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human S100A7. The detection limit for Human S100A7 is approximately 0.00245 ng/well.

Storage

This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃.Preservative-Free.
Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Hintergrund von S100A7 Antikörper

Protein S100-A7, also known as S100 calcium-binding protein A7, Psoriasin, S100A7, and PSOR1, is a secreted protein which belongs to theS-100 family. S100A7 was first isolated from skin involved by psoriasis, which can be induced in cultured squamous epithelial cells. S100A7 is expressed by both normal cultured and malignant keratinocytes and malignant breast epithelial cells within ductal carcinoma in situ, suggesting an association with abnormal pathways of differentiation. S100A7 plays a role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory skin disease, as a chemotactic factor for hematopoietic cells. It also plays a role in early stages of breast tumor progression in association with the development of the invasive phenotype.
