Usage Guide von RELT / TNFRSF19L Antikörper

Specificity

Human RELT / TNFRSF19L

Direct ELISA This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human RELT. The detection limit for Human RELT is approximately 0.00975 ng/well.
Storage This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free.
Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Hintergrund von RELT / TNFRSF19L Antikörper

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 19-like (TNFRSF19L), also known as RELT (Receptor Expressed in Lymphoid Tissues), is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. Human RELT cDNA encodes a 430 aa precursor protein with a putative 26 aa signal peptide, a 136 aa extracellular domain containing one TNF receptor cysteine-rich domain and one potential N-linked glycosylation site, a 21 aa transmembrane domain and a 247 aa cytoplasmic region containing no death domain. Among TNFRSF members, the RELT extracellular domain is most closely related to that of TNFRSF19 and OX40. This receptor is especially abundant in hematologic tissues such as spleen, lymph node, and peripheral blood leukocytes as well as in leukemias and lymphomas. RELT has been shown to exclusively bind the adaptor protein TNF receptor-associated factor 1 (TRAF1). It also activates the NF-kappaB pathway and is capable of stimulating T-cell proliferation in the presence of CD3 signaling, which suggests its regulatory role in immune response. Human RELT shares 85% and 96% aa sequence homology with mouse and macaque RELT, respectively.
