Specificity	Mouse EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1
Western blot	This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse EPCAM in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Mouse EPCAM is approximately 1 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions.
Direct ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse EPCAM. The detection limit for Mouse EPCAM is approximately 0.00245 ng/well.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM), also known as GA733-2 antigen, is a type Itransmembrane glycoprotein composed of an extracellular domain with two EGF-Like repeats and a cystenin-rich region, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain. This protein is present in the majority of human epithelial cells and is highly expressed in gastrointestinal carcinomas. It has been shown to function as a calcium-independent homophilic cell adhesion molecule that does not exhibit any obvious relationship to the four known cell adhesion molecule superfamilies. Since the cell-cell adhesion is known to play an important role in tumor progression and metastasis, the high expression of GA733-2 antigen is associated with malignant tumor development in various types of cancer lesions. In addition, recent study revealed that EpCAM is the Wnt-beta-catenin signaling target gene and may be used to facilitate prognosis. EpCAM is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas.
