DCR3 protein

Bio-activity

Measured by its ability to inhibit Fas Ligand induced apoptosis of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cells.
The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.01-0.05 μg/mL in the presence of 20 ng/mL recombinant human Fas Ligand.
Endotoxin < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Stability Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃
Predicted N terminal Val 30
Molecular Mass

The recombinant human DCR3/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 508 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 56.4 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 65 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Formulation Lyophilized from sterile 100mM Glycine, 10mM NaCl, pH 7.0.
  1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.
  2. Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements.

Usage Guide von DCR3 / TNFRSF6B Protein

Beschreibung von DCR3 / TNFRSF6B Protein

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 6B, also known as Decoy receptor 3, Decoy receptor for Fas ligand, TNFRSF6B and DCR3, is a secreted protein which contains four TNFR-Cys repeats. TNFRSF6B / DCR3 is a member of TNF receptor superfamily which is a soluble receptor without death domain and cytoplasmic domain, and secreted by cells and binds with FasL, LIGHT and TL1A. TNFRSF6B / DCR3 is detected in fetal lung, brain and liver. It is also detected in adult stomach, spinal cord, lymph node, trachea, spleen, colon and lung. TNFRSF6B / DCR3 is highly expressed in several primary tumors from colon, stomach, rectum, esophagus and in SW480 colon carcinoma cells. The principal function of TNFRSF6B / DCR3 is the inhibition of apoptosis by the binding cytotoxic ligands. The Decoy Receptor 3 ( TNFRSF6B / DCR3 ) is known to compete with the signalling receptors of the Fas ligand (FasL), LIGHT and the TNF-like molecule 1A (TL1A). TNFRSF6B / DCR3 modulates CNS-autoimmunity by interfering with Th17 responses via blockade of Fas-FasL interaction. Expression of TNFRSF6B / DCR3 has been reported in a wide array of normal human tissues as well as tumors and tumor cell lines. TNFRSF6B / DCR3 may act as a modulator in the immune system even at the phylogenetic level of cartilaginous fish. It protects against apoptosis.
