Molecular Mass	The recombinant human CLEC10A/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 492 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 54.6 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 58 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of PBS, pH7.4. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

Macrophage galactose-/N-acetylgalactosamine-specific-lectin (MGL/CD301), also known as CLEC10A, a unique calcium-type (C-type) lectin, which expressed on Dendritic cells (DCs), is thought to participate in the recognition of molecules from both altered self and pathogens due to its monosaccharide specificity for Gal and N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc). There are 2 homologues in mice: MGL1 and MGL2 (CD301a and CD301b). MGL1 expressed on a specific subpopulation of macrophages that secrete IL-1alpha was proposed to regulate specific cellular interactions crucial to granulation tissue formation. MGL1 is a novel regulator of inflammatory monocyte trafficking to adipose tissue in response to diet-induced obesity (DIO).
