Specificity	Mouse SIGNR1 / CD209b
Western blot	This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse CD209B in WB.
Direct ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse CD209B. The detection limit for Mouse CD209B is approximately 0.00245 ng/well.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Hintergrund von SIGNR1 / CD209b Antikörper

CD209 antigen-like protein B, also known as DC-SIGN-related protein 1, DC-SIGNR1 and Cd209b, is a a single-pass type II membrane protein which contains oneC-type lectin domain. CD209B is expressed in skin, spleen and lung, probably in a subset of dendritic cells. It is detected in spleen extrafollicular paracortical areas including the red pulp and marginal zones, and at lower levels, in the follicular area. It is also detected in skin suprabasal areas adjacent to the epidermis and in epidermal cell layer. CD209B is a pathogen-recognition receptor. It may mediate the endocytosis of pathogens which are subsequently degraded in lysosomal compartments. CD209B may recognize in a calcium-dependent manner high mannose N-linked oligosaccharides in a variety of pathogen antigens. It is a receptor for ICAM3, probably by binding to mannose-like carbohydrates. In vitro, CD209B is a receptor for HIV-1, HIV-2 and SIV, but does not transmit virus to permissive T-cells under the conditions tested.
