The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

SerpinB4-skin immunohistochemistry

Western blot

This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human SerpinB4 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Human SerpinB4 is approximately 2 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and 2 ng/lane under reducing conditions.

Direct ELISA

This antibody can be used at 0.5-1 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human SerpinB4. The detection limit for Human SerpinB4 is approximately 0.16 ng/well.

Storage

This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃.Preservative-Free.
Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Hintergrund von SerpinB4 Antikörper

SerpinB4, also known as Squamous cell carcinoma antigen 2 (SCCA2), is a member of the clade B serpins. The human SCCA locus contains two genes, SERPINB3 (SCCA1) and SERPINB4 (SCCA2). Amino acid comparisons show that SCCA1 and SCCA2 are members of the high-molecular weight serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) family. Although SCCA1 and SCCA2 are closely homologous, these two molecules have distinct properties. Biochemical analysis of recombinant SCCA1 and SCCA2 proteins shows that SCCA1 is a potent cross-class inhibitor of papain-like cysteine proteinases such as cathepsins L, S and K, whereas SCCA2 is an inhibitor of chymotrypsin-like serine proteinases such as cathepsin G and mast cell chymase. SCCA1 and SCCA2 are capable of regulating proteolytic events involved in both normal (e.g., tissue remodeling, protein processing) and pathologic processes (e.g., tumor progression).
