Specificity	Mouse Growth Hormone Receptor / GHR / GHBP
Western blot	This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse GHR in WB.
Direct ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse GHR. The detection limit for Mouse GHR is approximately 0.0049 ng/well.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Growth hormone receptor, also known as GHR, is a member of the class I cytokine receptor family. It is a transmembrane receptor protein forgrowth hormone composed of an extracellular domain (ECD) with two subdomains responsible for GH binding and dimerization, a single transmembrane domain and an intracellular domain. Binding of growth hormone (GH) to the receptor leads to receptor dimerization and the activation of an intra- and intercellular signal transduction pathway. As the major regulator of postnatal growth, GHR exerts its somatogenic, metabolic, and differentiative effects on its target cells and tissues via the Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) pathways. Mutations in this gene is associated withLaron syndrome, also known as the growth hormone insensitivity syndrome (GHIS), a disorder characterized by short stature (proportional dwarfism).
