Specificity	Mouse EphA7
Western blot	This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse EPHA7 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Mouse EPHA7 is approximately 0.5 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions.
Direct ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse EPHA7. The detection limit for Mouse EPHA7 is approximately 0.00245 ng/well.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Ephrin type-A receptor 7, also known as EPH homology kinase 3, EPH-like kinase 11, EPHA7 and EHK3, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, Tyr protein kinase family and Ephrin receptor subfamily. EPHA7 is widely expressed. It contains two fibronectin type-III domains, one protein kinase domain and one SAM (sterile alpha motif) domain. EPHA7 is a receptor for members of the ephrin-A family. It binds to ephrin-A1, ephrin-A2, ephrin-A3, ephrin-A4 and ephrin-A5. EPHA7 is a member of the EPHA family of receptor kinases, among which several members are known to be involved in human lung carcinogenesis. EPHA7 is expressed at a substantial level in most human lung cancers and the secreted form of EPHA7 mRNA was found in a fraction of primary lung cancer tissues, lung cancer cell lines, and immortalized bronchogenic epithelial cell lines. The high expression of EphA7 protein may play an important role in the malignancy transformation, invasion progression and metastasis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. EPHA7 warrants further investigation to determine its possible involvement in smoking related lung carcinogenesis.
