Molecular Mass

The recombinant human CNPY4 consists of  238 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 27.4 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 32 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

  1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.

Storage Store it under sterile conditions at -70℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Beschreibung von CNPY4 Protein

CNPY4 is a member of the canopy family. CNPY4 interacts with toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and plays a role in the regulation of the cell surface expression of TLR4. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) recognize microbial products and induce immune responses. As CNPY4, PRAT4B also regulates cell surface expression of TLR4. PRAT4B has a signal peptide followed by a mature peptide. It is associated with the hypoglycosylated, immature form of TLR4. Lipopolysaccharide is recognized by the receptor complex consisting of TLR4 and MD-2.
