Specificity	Human CIB2
Western blot	This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human CIB2 in WB.
Direct ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.5-1 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human CIB2. The detection limit for Human CIB2 is approximately 0.00975 ng/well.
Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Calcium and integrin-binding family member 2, also known as Kinase-interacting protein 2, KIP-2 and CIB2, is a ubiquitously expressed protein. CIB2 / KIP-2 contains 3EF-hand domains. The closely related CIB1 has been reported to bind integrin alphaIIb and may be involved in outside-in-signaling in platelets. CIB2 / KIP-2 might be a novel integrin alpha7beta1-binding protein in muscle, we have studied Cib2 expression in the developing and adult mouse. CIB2 mRNA is mainly expressed in the developing central nervous system and in developing and adult skeletal muscle. In skeletal muscle, CIB2 / KIP-2 colocalizes with the integrin alpha7B subunit at the sarcolemma and at the neuromuscular and myotendinous junctions. CIB2 / KIP-2 is a calcium-binding protein that interacts with integrin alpha7Bbeta1D. CIB2 / KIP-2 is a cytoplasmic effector of integrin alpha7Bbeta1D signaling in skeletal muscle.
